4 more HoM with just some grinding? - Guild Wars Forums

I just want 4 more HoM points and I was thinking of just grinding Oppressor Weapons with Wanted quests and maybe getting 2 more suits of armor.

Here is what I have so far.

I have no interest in going back and getting all the bonuses in the campaigns. Straightforward grinding is what I've found to be the least annoying thing to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

unique mini, destroyer weapon are both easy. I'd reccomend choosing one and then getting zrank to 3.

it shows me 16.50..so its not 4 more but 14 more if u want 30/50

I don't know what "straightforward grinding" means exactly. The only things that you can get just by doing the same thing over and over are titles, and I'm guessing you don't want to do quite that much grinding.

If you want to buy your 4 points, get all the heroes and their armor, plus the pets. (You can do some grinding to level your phoenix to 20!) Get a green mini. Get 10 more cheap minis (or a destroyer weapon). That should be the cheapest route.

If you want to grind 4 points without spending money, pick 20 titles and do those, I guess. But that will take forever. (And lots of them won't be a "straightforward grind.")

The green mini is especially easy to do if you have all campaigns. Just get the Black Moa Chick. Otherwise, just do some titles like vanquishing to make money to get a destroyer weapon. It wouldn't be that hard to get 4 points.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into getting the Black Moa chick and I'll look up pricing on a Destroyer weapon too.

One question, how long do people think it will take to get Rank 3 in Zaishen just doing the bounties and such on Normal mode?

I tried the Rotscale Bounty on Hard Mode and while I think I can do it the amount of research, organization and reworking of my heroes just to get the point of getting closer while still wiping ended up taking so much bloody time so I just ran it on Normal Mode and finished in 10 mins. I just don't have time or interest in the homework that HM missions seem to require. (Didn't find out about the shrine blessing until the after all that too! Sheesh).

I suppose that's what I mean by 'straightforward'. I want to play, not constantly rearrange my hero builds and research tactics (though I suppose some might say that is playing the game, let's say I just want to have fun or at least not be grossly annoyed by playing).

Also I might not be able to do all the Zaishen missions since I haven't gotten to all the dungeons and such. Which looks like it might make getting the Black Moa a major headache too.

Actually I've found the War in Kryta Wanted missions on Normal Mode are ideal. No annoying mechanics like keeping some NPC alive, no hunting to clear entire regions searching for some last hidden mob, no bizarre bosses that need special builds.

But at only about 6 medals every three weeks, GW2 will probably come out before I get the 10 other weapons. So the other suggestions are very welcome!

30 will require titles and I just don't have the time.

Quick revised question.

Since I still have ectos from the Wintersday contest, I thought I'd sell them, some Z-keys, a gold unded mini and other stuff to get the mats for 4 more armors.

How about these:

Monument Armor
Warrior elite dragon Armor/Granite Citadel Exclusive Armor
Warrior elite Charr Hide/Marhan's Grotto Elite Armor
Warrior Elite Templar armor/Marhan's Grotto Ascended armor

(I have 700+ Iron already saved)

I was also thinking of doing a little grinding for 3 more Oppressor Weapons which will also get me the Vanguard rank to get the Monument armor.

Does this sound like a reasonable plan for someone with more platinum than time?
